These terms explain how MyJournal+ works, what you can expect from us, and the responsibilities that come with using the service.

Thank you for choosing MyJournal+. By creating an account, accessing or using MyJournal+, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read these terms carefully.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the service.
MyJournal+ is operated by Celma Tech Foundation.
A space for reflection and growth
MyJournal+ is designed to help you develop a sustainable journaling habit through writing, reflection, mood tracking and optional personal insights.
📝 Journaling
Create, edit, organize and search your personal journal entries.
😊 Mood tracking
Record moods and use optional analytics to understand patterns over time.
🤖 AI Insights
Request optional AI-powered reflections, themes, prompts and actions.
📊 Premium tools
Access optional Premium features such as advanced analytics, themes and exports.
🔔 Notifications
Receive optional reminders and notifications when permission is granted.
📱 Offline support
Continue working with supported offline functionality when connectivity is unavailable.
Account & security
Some MyJournal+ features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
🔑 Protect your credentials
Use a strong password and do not intentionally share your login details.
🛡️ Secure your account
Where available, use PIN, 2FA or other additional security protections.
🚨 Report suspicious activity
If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password and contact support.
👤 Accurate information
Keep account information reasonably accurate and up to date.
PIN and 2FA
PIN protection is provided as an additional convenience and security layer. Where implemented, PIN information is stored using a protected representation rather than plain text.
Two-factor authentication features may also be available depending on the current version of the application.
Keep backup codes safe.
If backup codes are provided, store them somewhere secure. Anyone who obtains valid authentication credentials or recovery information may potentially gain access to your account.
Premium features & payments
MyJournal+ may offer optional Premium features that provide additional functionality beyond the standard free experience.

- Export features such as PDF or CSV
- Other Premium functionality introduced in future releases
Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal. MyJournal+ does not intentionally store complete payment-card details.
Premium activation
Premium access may only be activated after successful server-side verification of the relevant payment.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to the applicable payment provider's procedures and MyJournal+'s applicable refund policy. Contact support with your purchase information if you need assistance.
You own what you create
You retain ownership of the journal entries, text, images and other content that you create or upload to MyJournal+.
By using the service, you grant MyJournal+ the limited permission necessary to store, process, synchronize and display your content solely for operating and providing the features of the service.
We do not claim ownership of your journal.
Your personal writing remains your content. The permission described above exists only so the application can function.
Exports & sharing
When you export or share your journal content, you control that action. Content shared outside MyJournal+ may become subject to the privacy practices and terms of the service where you share it.
AI Insights are optional
AI Insights are generated only when you intentionally request the feature. MyJournal+ does not require you to use AI in order to maintain a journal.
- Requests are authenticated and verified by the backend.
- Premium eligibility is checked before the AI service is called.
- The amount of text processed may be limited.
- Obvious personal identifiers may be removed where technically possible.
- AI results may be generated automatically and can contain inaccuracies.
AI is a reflection tool — not an authority.
AI Insights should not be treated as professional medical, psychological, financial, legal or other expert advice.
Notifications are optional
If you allow notifications, MyJournal+ may send reminders or other service-related notifications to the device or browser associated with your account.
You may disable notifications through your browser or device settings.
Use MyJournal+ responsibly
You agree not to use MyJournal+ in a way that harms the service, other users or third parties.
- Do not use the service for unlawful activities.
- Do not intentionally attempt to compromise or bypass security controls.
- Do not interfere with the availability or performance of the service.
- Do not attempt to access another user's account or private information.
- Do not abuse referral systems, promotions or Premium access mechanisms.
- Do not upload content that you do not have the right to store or use.
Referral rewards
MyJournal+ may provide referral programs that reward users for inviting others.
Referral codes, reward amounts, eligibility requirements and promotional conditions may change over time.
We may withhold or reverse rewards where referral activity appears fraudulent, automated, abusive or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the program.
Account deletion & portability
You may request deletion of your MyJournal+ account through available account controls or by contacting support.
When an account is deleted, we attempt to remove the profile and associated journal, mood and other account data according to our applicable deletion procedures.
Deletion may not be instantaneous.
Backups, caches, logs or third-party systems may temporarily retain limited information while deletion processes complete.

We work to keep the service reliable
MyJournal+ uses technologies and practices intended to protect accounts and data, including HTTPS, Firebase authentication, security rules and server-side verification for sensitive operations.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee perfect security or uninterrupted availability.
We may temporarily restrict, suspend or modify parts of the service when necessary for security, maintenance, upgrades or other operational reasons.
Account suspension or termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users or third parties.
Examples may include serious abuse, fraudulent activity, security attacks, unauthorized access attempts or repeated violations of these Terms.
Where reasonably possible and appropriate, we may provide notice before taking action.
External services
MyJournal+ may depend on third-party services for infrastructure, authentication, analytics, payments, notifications and AI functionality.
Third-party services may have their own terms, policies, limitations and availability requirements.
We are not responsible for independent changes made by third-party providers, although we will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility where practical.
Service limitations
MyJournal+ is provided to support personal journaling and reflection. It is not a replacement for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional services.
Features may change, become temporarily unavailable or be discontinued as the application develops.
Do not use MyJournal+ as your only backup.
Although we work to maintain reliable storage and synchronization, you should maintain independent copies of information that is especially important to you.
Reasonable limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Celma Tech Foundation is not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including third-party outages, network failures, device failures, unauthorized access caused by compromised credentials, or information voluntarily shared outside MyJournal+.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
MyJournal+ may update these Terms from time to time as the service evolves.
When changes are significant, we may provide notice through the application, website or other reasonable communication method.
Continued use of MyJournal+ after an updated version becomes effective means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
